Appeals court upholds Pentagon exclusion of Anthropic over AI-use restrictions

On September 25, the D.C. Circuit denied Anthropic's challenge to its removal from the Pentagon supply chain under the federal supply-chain statute. The dispute arose from Anthropic's contractual restrictions on lethal autonomous warfare and mass domestic surveillance. A separate California ruling under different authority remains distinct.
