Symantec captures an offensive agent seeking exposed model access

Symantec captured requests containing 74 offensive tool definitions and instructions for up to 100,000 unattended steps using exposed model services. Its honeypot ran no tools and returned a fallback reply. This documents attempted malicious delegation, not a confirmed compromise, completed attack loop or model escape; the actual model and downstream victims remain unverified.

Magnitude 28 reflects an observed request and assembled workflow, not successful autonomy; confidence is capped at 60 because downstream compromise and reliable execution are unverified. The honeypot executed nothing. The Register independently interviewed the researcher on October 24, who reported no evidence of successful attacks.
